We currently offer a wide breadth of holistic modalities to maximize your health and wellness. We combine acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to create a treatment plan appropriate for your situation. Our therapeutic modalities can be described as follows:
Acupuncture ::: Single-use needles that can be as fine a single hair are inserted in order to regulate blood and Qi in the body. Patients can feel a sense of warmth, heaviness or numbness around the needle, which are sensations that indicate that the acupuncture is sufficiently stimulating, and the patient is getting the most out of their acupuncture session.
Chinese herbal medicine ::: The priceless value of Chinese herbs has been studied for thousands of years. They are extremely effective in treating a wide array of health conditions. Chinese herbs are a safe, effective way to treat many illnesses and discomforts without the toxic side-effects of many Western drugs. Every Chinese herbal formula is specifically tailored to suit each patient's unique needs.
Auricular therapy ::: Stimulation of the ear to effectively treat all parts of the body in an integrated Chinese and Western model of medicine.
Facial acupuncture ::: Amazingly, using acupuncture, we can erase fine lines, soften deeper ones, tighten the jawline, and reduce puffiness and dark circles around the eyes. This safe and effective treatment rejuvenates the face and the body. Fine needles are used to stimulate collagen production and improve muscle tone. And voila! The face is brightened without resorting to surgery or toxic injections such as Botox.

| BEFORE YOU ARRIVE |
Some bodywork is usually performed, so loose fitting clothes (like gym gear) are best. Please do not brush your tongue the day of your appointment, for a key diagnostic tool for us is the examination of the coating on your tongue. Occasionally herbal liniments are applied, so please advise us of any allergies and be aware the herbal aroma may linger on clothes.
Have a light snack a half hour to an hour before your appointment. And afterwards, be sure to drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins and blockages we will be clearing in the body.
